She is fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine and triple board-certified in Family Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine.
During her fellowship at the University of Colorado, Dr. Weinstein served as a team physician for Division I and professional athletes, working alongside the medical teams for University of Colorado football, women’s volleyball and lacrosse, as well as the Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets. That experience shaped the way she practices today: thorough evaluations, clear diagnoses, evidence-informed treatment, and a focus on getting people back to the activities that matter to them.
Dr. Weinstein also has extensive experience using musculoskeletal ultrasound for real-time diagnosis and image-guided treatment. Before founding CORE, she practiced at Rothman Orthopaedics, where she continued to build her expertise in non-operative sports and musculoskeletal medicine.
But sports medicine, to Dr. Weinstein, has never been only about treating an injured joint. Her training in Lifestyle Medicine allows her to look at the bigger picture, including movement, sleep, nutrition, stress, recovery, and the habits that can either support or slow healing. She believes exercise and nutrition are powerful forms of medicine and enjoys helping patients understand not only what is hurting, but why it may be happening and what they can do about it.
At CORE, her goal is to create the kind of medical experience she believes patients deserve: time to tell their story, a physician who knows them from visit to visit, a clear plan, and care built around their goals rather than a one-size-fits-all protocol.
A New Jersey native, Dr. Weinstein is also a mom of three, so she understands that staying active does not always mean training for a race or chasing a personal record. Sometimes it means being able to pick up your child, get through a busy workday without pain, hike on vacation, or simply feel strong and capable in everyday life.
Outside the office, she loves traveling, hiking, staying active, spending time in the mountains, and being with her family. She is also passionate about giving back to her community and has volunteered with Parker Family Health Center in Red Bank, which provides healthcare to underserved patients.
Ultimately, Dr. Weinstein’s approach is simple: help people move better, understand their bodies, recover well, and build the health that allows them to keep doing what they love.
No PAs, no rotating providers, no repeating your story to someone new each visit. You see Dr. Weinstein every time — she knows your history, your goals, and your body.
In-office musculoskeletal ultrasound means many injuries are diagnosed and treatment can begin the same visit — not after a week of waiting on imaging and a callback.
Dr. Weinstein trained in sports medicine alongside the medical teams of D1 athletics, the Colorado Avalanche, and the Denver Nuggets — that same standard of care is applied to your recovery, whether your “sport” is CrossFit, golf, or chasing a toddler.
As a Lifestyle Medicine physician, Dr. Weinstein doesn't just treat the joint — she looks at sleep, nutrition, stress, and movement patterns to fix what's actually driving the problem, not just mask the symptom.
Sports medicine and lifestyle medicine work together to address movement, recovery, sleep, nutrition, stress, and long-term health.
Dr. Weinstein takes the time to understand what’s been going on, what you’ve already tried, what matters to you, and what you want to get back to.
Your visit includes a focused physical exam, and when appropriate, in-office musculoskeletal ultrasound can help clarify the diagnosis in real time.
You leave with a clear plan tailored to your diagnosis, goals, lifestyle, and activity level. Treatment may include exercise prescription, procedures, lifestyle recommendations, or a combination of approaches.
Follow-up care is with Dr. Weinstein, so your plan evolves based on how you’re actually responding, not a one-size-fits-all protocol.
