She is fellowship trained in Sports Medicine and is dual board certified in Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine.
During her fellowship at The University of Colorado, Dr. Weinstein served as a team physician for collegiate and professional sports, collaborating with the NCAA division 1 football, women’s volleyball, and women’s lacrosse teams at The University of Colorado at Boulder, as well as the Colorado Avalanche and the Denver Nuggets. She is proficient in the use of ultrasound and uses it in the office to aid in real time diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. With vast experience, including tenure at Rothman Orthopedics, Dr. Weinstein brings a wealth of knowledge to her field.
Driven by a passion for educating athletes of all ages on the significance of nutrition and a healthy lifestyle, Dr. Weinstein prioritizes injury prevention and utilizes exercise and food as medicine to enhance the overall quality of life for her patients. Her ultimate objective is to empower her patients to prioritize these aspects of wellness to achieve optimal health.
Her clinical proficiency encompasses non-surgical interventions for musculoskeletal injuries, tailored exercise prescriptions, and nutritional guidance for fostering a healthy lifestyle. A native of New Jersey, Dr. Weinstein currently resides locally with her husband and two children. In her free time, she indulges in her love for travel, hiking, staying active, and relishing moments spent in the mountains.
